For everyone's reference I just had my valves checked at the local Kawasaki dealership and had my air filter changed, first time for both. The valves required no shim adjustments everything was still within spec. I had them show me the air filter and it was dirty but nothing was coming thru the filter. They told me they were not surprised that the shims were OK and that it mainly depends on how hard you ride the bike. I average 45.2 MPG, service mileage was 30,135. I have T-Rex engine...
